Architecture

The architecture of rDataDAO is designed to be scalable, secure, and efficient, ensuring that all data transactions and interactions are handled seamlessly. The key components of our architecture include

  • Data Layer: This layer handles data ingestion, encryption, and storage on the Vana network. Data is encrypted using a decentralized key management system, ensuring that only the DAO can access it subject to democratic governance.

  • Consensus Layer: The consensus mechanism is based on Vana's proof of contribution, which validates data contributions and ensures that all transactions are transparent and verifiable. The consensus layer ensures that $RDAT allocation is commensurate to data value.

  • Application Layer: Built on the Satori testnet, this layer includes the various applications and interfaces used by rDataDAO members. It provides tools for data contribution, governance voting, and accessing AI models. The application layer supports secure compute, ensuring users can utilize their data without compromising its value.

  • Governance Layer: This layer handles governance voting and decision-making processes within the DAO. It facilitates transparent and democratic participation from all $RDAT token holders, ensuring that the community's voice drives the project's direction. See: https://snapshot.org/#/rdatadao.eth

  • Economic Layer: This layer manages the commercial aspects of rDataDAO, including token issuance, incentives, and revenue distribution. It operates on Base, ensuring that all economic activities are transparent and fair.
